| POP Email Account How do I check my email?
You will need to first select an email program that you will use.
There are many different email programs, such as Eudora , Netscape
Communicator , Internet Explorer , Microsoft
Outlook . For Microsoft Outlook Express, you could find a
detailed instructuion here .
After selecting the particular software package, you must configure
the program for receiving and sending email. Your incoming mail
server will be mail.your_domain.com and your outgoing mail server
will be the SMTP server provided by your ISP. We do not provide
SMTP server for preventing spamming form our servers.
Another way for checking your email is using our web-based email
client at mail.zwnet.com or
in the sendmail section in your MySite
Control Center .
How do I create new email accounts?

accounts. Log into your MySite Control Center and follow the steps:

3. click on POP Email icon.
4. you will see a list of pop email account you have currectly under your domain,
input a email address you want in the Email Address input box, password and
confirm password in other two input box and click on add button.
5. you new pop email account is created now! you could access your email using
user name shown in POP3 account and password you chose when creating it.
We have setup a default "catch all" address
mapping for your website when setting up your website. So when
someone sends you an email addressed to a username that does
not exist for your domain name, it will be forwarded to your
account at ZWNET by default. This e-mail feature allows you to
not miss any email that comes to your domain. You could change
the forwarding email address to any other email address outside
your domain. If you want to forward any single email address
of your domain to any other real email address, you could set
it in mail aliases section.
 What's the difference between a POP3
account and a forwarding account?
At ZWNET you get two types of email accounts.
A POP3 email account receives and stores
email on the email server here at ZWNET. You log into the account
directly to retrieve mail. A forwarding account uses your domain
name (you@yourdomain.com), but sends the mail to another email
account that you specify. The other account can be anywhere;
you@aol.com, you@earthlink.net, etc. The messages are not stored
on our server, but rather "forwarded" to
the other target email account.
Each ZWNET account a couple of POP3 email addresses and unlimited
email forwarding. You can create, edit, and delete all your email
functions through your MySite Control
Center .
What's an alias email address and what
does address mapping means?
Alias email address is an email address that does not have a real
user behind it. When a mail is sent to an alias email address,
it will be forwarded to another real email address.
Address mappings are similar to aliases, but are more suited to
a system that handles multiple email domains. They can be used
to redirect mail for an entire domain to one address.
You could create alias email addresses and address mappings in
your MySite Control Center sendmail
configuration section.
What if I need additional email accounts?
Your ZWNET account includes a couple of email accounts depending
on your service plan. If you need more than that you can order
additional email accounts through your MySite
Control Center .
I got error message "Server Response:
'550 ... Relaying denied'" when trying to send out emails,
what could be wrong?
We do not support SMTP service (the protocol used to sending out
emails on Internet) due to spam abuse of the service. If you put
mail.your_domain.com as outgoing server in your email program,
you will get this error messages when trying to send out email.
The solution is using SMTP server provided by your Internet access
service provider as your outgoing email server. If you are not
sure the name of the SMTP server you could use, contact your access
service provider and they will be able to provide you the server
name.
